Here you can find a bit about who we are as well as our creative philosphy

All of us here truly believe that its not enough to just capture and document your special day, we want to actually CREATE something for you - something that you can cherish and look back on forever. Our goal is always to make a work of art out of your wedding, whether it be a beautiful and romantic  film, or a stunning photo album to keep as a memento

Karl Kimmel

I was born and raised right here in beauitiful Vancouver, British Columbia. My interest in film and video started out in highschool where I was successful in creating several scholarship winning films. After Graduating from Vancouver Film School, I began my journey in the independant film world and worked on tons of amazing projects.
Along the way I somehow fell into filming weddings. I started out as a hired videographer for other wedding video companies, but I soon began to feel limited creatively. I decided I would be much better off starting my own business, where I could tell all these great wedding tales with my own style.
Coming from a background in Film, my approach to wedding and event work is no different than any other of my film ventures, giving it a visual flair not commonly found in this field.

Over the past 5 years I've gained experience on upwards of 100 weddings. My passion lies in documenting and bringing out the best in people through imagery.

As an artist, I'm a  capable and determined shooter. I have a keen vision for the images I delivers to clients, and won’t settle for second best. Since moving to Canada from Zambia I've developed my own style that I continue to perfect and tweak to this day. I do, however, remain strongly insightful at guiding and directing clients into good lighting while simultaneously allowing them to be themselves and have fun.

I'm a passionate advocate for preserving memories in printed albums, have a keen eye for design and take the time to custom curate unique heirloom albums for our clients that last a lifetime.

I started making short films at the age of eight when my family bought our first video camcorder. By about the age of 11 I knew that I wanted to make films and videos as a profession. In grade twelve I enrolled in the Ace-It film program at Burnaby North high school, and by graduation, had won film awards at festivals like Zoomfest and the BC Student Film Festival. I am currently a third year student in the Motion Picture Arts Program at Capilano University and I hope to obtain my Bachelors degree there.
In the summer, I focus on working for Forever After Studios full time. I love the cinematic possibilities of filming weddings. Each wedding is a different and unique experience and I love creating the videos with a special cinematic film quality.

We'd love to chat and get to know you more too!
